There was whining in my head when I woke up this evening. It sounded a bit like this…

“It’s Friday night FFS! Everyone’s winding down. But I’m headed to work through the weekend in addition to a full-on week.”

And after that…

“People sleep at night whilst I head to work. Again! It’s not normal.”

But all that vanished as soon as I got to work, put scrubs on & got my stethoscope out!! Game on!!

So you see- it’s not about how hard it is, or features of our jobs which deserve whining. It’s everything about our jobs that make us come alive!!
